Massage Therapy Has a Place at the Table

Holistic Massotherapy LLC is exploring the potential role of massage therapy within services for individuals with disabilities.

Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other specialized services are commonly recognized as part of disability care. Massage therapy is often left out of the conversation.

I am researching, learning, and communicating with professionals and organizations to better understand where massage therapy may appropriately fit and who may benefit.

Recent research involving massage therapy, rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, and spasticity is encouraging further exploration.

This is not about replacing existing services. It is about exploring whether massage therapy deserves to be considered alongside them.
